Java programming

Java is a programming language and a computer platform.

There are many applications and websites that will not work unless you have Java installed and more are created every day. Java is fast, safe and reliable. From laptops to data centers, from game consoles to super computers, from mobile phones to the Internet, Java is everywhere, which is executed on one platform does not have to be recompiled to run on another. Java is, as of 2012, one of the most popular programming languages in use, particularly for client-web server applications, with about ten million users reported.(Wikipedia, 2019)

History.

The Java programming language was originally developed by James Gosling of Sun Microsystems (established in 1983 and subsequently acquired on January 27, 2010 by the Oracle company).
The language was initially called Oak (for an oak that was outside the Gosling office), then it was renamed Green after discovering that Oak was already a registered trademark for graphics card adapters, and finally it was renamed as Java.

Gosling's objectives were to implement a virtual machine and a language with a structure and syntax similar to C ++.
